Description

Hunter is a 2017 dappled palomino Quarter Horse gelding standing at 14.3 hands—hello gorgeous. This blonde bombshell has a long snow-white mane and tail. Trained in reining, he performs all maneuvers with ease—a rocking-chair lope on a draped rein, long and smooth sliding stops, pretty spins, and elegant movement. Hunter would be fun to show in Ranch Riding and Versatility classes. He is very easy and adaptive to all situations, new obstacles, and new places. On the trails, Hunter rides like a dream—nothing bothers him. He willingly goes through running water, rocky terrain, and is sure-footed up and down mountains. Always gentle to ride and easy to handle even with substantial time off, he is an "old soul" in a young body. He enjoys attention and affection, meeting you at the gate and following you around like a puppy dog. Hunter is good around dogs, tarps, traffic, machinery, and gunfire. Used around our ranch, he's a great partner—side passes easily to open and shut gates, stands ground tied, confident outside alone, and quiet in a group. He has a lot of natural cow and we have used him to sort cattle in pens and gather cattle out of the pasture. We have roped on him a little too. Hunter has all the tools, ability, and mind to go do whatever you want on horseback.
