Description

Cougar is a stocky-built 2015 chocolate tobiano Tennessee Walking Horse gelding standing at 15.1 hands. He was their go-to horse when a friend wanted to ride or a beginner wanted to give it a try—always a crowd favorite. Now looking for his second and final forever loving home, Cougar is easy to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle. Gentle and safe to ride, he flatfoot walks and moves out easily, with a natural running walk gait and can rack on out when asked. Ridden around farm equipment, ATVs, over large noisy tarps, and with guns shot off his back, Cougar is not spooky acting. On the trails, he is always great—exposed to all kinds of wildlife, he goes anywhere asked. He has many miles in the mountains and has encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He goes up or down steep slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all types of rough terrain while staying sure-footed. He has been ridden in traffic and is very traffic safe around cars, semis, log trucks, and dump trucks. With a great personality and attitude about whatever he is asked to do, if you need a trail horse, just go ahead and get the Cougar version.
