Blue

Description

Blue is a rare 2016 true blue roan Tennessee Walking Horse gelding standing at 16 hands. He is a registered TWH with a good pedigree and has had professional training—he neck reins, slide stops, backs, bows down, and lays down. Blue is easy to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle in every way. Safe for beginners, he has been trail ridden by our 8-year-old boy. He has a very smooth and natural 4-beat gait all the way up to 12mph with a nice lope. He moves out easily and will also walk quietly on a loose rein as long as you like. Ridden around farm equipment, ATVs, over large noisy tarps, and with guns shot off his back, Blue is not spooky acting. On the trails, he is always great—exposed to all kinds of wildlife, he goes anywhere asked. He has many miles in the mountains and has encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He goes up or down steep slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all types of rough terrain while staying sure-footed. He has been ridden in traffic and is safe around cars and trucks. With a great attitude and easygoing personality, Blue is not one to miss.
