Bonito

Description

Bonito (Bones) is a 2017 black tobiano Tennessee Walking Horse gelding standing at 16 hands. He has been camping in multiple states, trail ridden at large campgrounds such as Big South Fork and The Land Between The Lakes, and has made several trips to the semi-annual Knot County ride in Kentucky, also showing at local fun shows. Bones is easy to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle—a laid-back, gentle type of horse. He flatfoot walks on a loose rein and moves on out when asked, with a natural smooth 4-beat gait that covers ground with ease. No matter where he goes or what he does, Bones is not spooky. On the trails, he is always great—exposed to all kinds of wildlife, he goes anywhere asked. He has many miles and has encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He goes up or down steep slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all types of rough terrain while staying sure-footed. He has been ridden in traffic and is very traffic safe around cars, semis, log trucks, and dump trucks. With a great personality and attitude about whatever he is asked to do, Bones is a wonderful companion.
