Ruz is a 2016 black Quarter Horse gelding standing at 15 hands—everyone loves a sharp-dressed man, and Ruz is all that. This stunning black gelding is the kind that you can't walk by without a second glance. Ruz is very versatile, well rounded, and trained. He loves life and is happy to conquer any job you ask of him, whether it be the top ranch horse, show horse, or your favorite partner just to cruise down the trail. Ruz comes with an extra dose of gentle and kindness. He is safe and quiet for beginner riders and is always tolerant, respectful, and patient. He has been ridden by kids in cutting, sorting pens, and out on the ranch—always the same honest gelding even with time off. Ruz is an absolute blast to drop your hand and work a cow—very stylish and classy. Not only an amazing arena horse, but great outside too. Accustomed to several different types of terrain, he goes right where you point him through running water, deep mud, thick brush, mountainous and rocky terrain, prickly cactus, and is very sure-footed. Ruz has smooth and comfortable gaits with more whoa than go—if you just think whoa, it's happening. Easy and simple to maneuver with good spins, lead changes, and a great stop. You can sit his sweet little jog all day long, and you'll love his rocking-chair lope. He has a good extended trot that will cover some country too. Ruz has been roped on in the arena out of the box and also in the pasture—goes right to his spot with perfect timing and rate, making your job easy. He portrays no nervous energy ever and gives you assurance that no matter what you want to do, you can accomplish it together. Ruz is super user-friendly in all aspects and is simply a fun and easy horse to own. He's very special to us and has always been a pleasure to work with.
