Mariah is a 2016 buttermilk buckskin Quarter Horse mare standing at 15.1 hands—insanely gorgeous with tons of shape, size, pedigree. She is definitely "The Whole Shebang." Plus she is a total sweetheart, family friendly, and super versatile. So simple and very uncomplicated to ride and operate, she pretty much has auto mode and cruise control. 100% safe, quiet, and gentle in every way and every day. She will go as slow as a turtle or speed up to whatever gear you desire. She has a nice little jog and big ground-covering long trot, a sweet babydoll lope, and is an excellent lead changer. Naturally low-headed and carries herself very level. Mariah is no different than having a good-natured gelding in the barn—she doesn't have mare tendencies and can be turned out with, tied next to, trailered without dividers, and rides nicely next to other horses. She doesn't buddy up and fall in love and will happily ride away from her friends without a fuss. We love this mare for so many reasons, and her cool-as-a-cucumber way of living life is a top quality. Absolutely nothing bothers her—never has. Zero spook or silliness in any way. Whatever you send her direction, she is unfazed. Mariah rides the very best in and out of the arena. She has a lot of training and is super versatile—very competitive in Ranch events such as ranch riding, trail, rail, and versatility. Perfect over all trail obstacles including bridges, logs, drags, gates, and we have roped on her quite a bit as well. She has very pretty spins and a nice sliding stop. Mariah rides English and bareback too and is especially smooth. A rockstar on the trails, nothing fazes her. We trust her completely and have let kids, beginners, and businessmen that have never ridden before cruise her down the trails and down to the Rio Verde River (she loves the water). Great in the mountains, she loves to be outside and see the sights. If you don't have time to ride, no problem—she's the same delightful girl you left, and you can pick up right where you left off. She stays trained and gentle. Mariah ground ties where you drop a rein and cross-ties for a bubble bath. Easy peasy in the barn with a darling disposition, she will stand quietly all day to be groomed and loved on. Kindhearted, she will lower her head for the kids to pet her and is very respectful of their size. Standing 15.1 hands, it's hard to find a mare in today's market with this size backed by a strong black-type pedigree. Not to mention she is America's favorite color, buckskin. After you are done riding her, she has huge broodmare potential. This mare is first-class all the way—you will wear out a pickup truck trying to find one like her.
