Teddy is a 2016 dappled buckskin Quarter Horse gelding standing at 14.2 hands—safe, honest, kid tested and approved, and America's favorite color, dappled buckskin. Teddy will be your best buddy. This pretty 14.2 hand gelding is as handy as they come—any job you need to do, he will be your number one partner. Teddy has been shown in stock horse and Ranch Versatility events by a youth kid. Together they won the year-end circuit receiving the trophy saddle. Teddy works a cow nicely and gives his heart every time. Fun to use in sorting pens and out gathering cattle, he's very quiet in a herd but gritty and quick-footed if need be. Teddy does all reining maneuvers easily including spins, sliding stops, and lead changes. He has nice, smooth gaits and transitions on a draped rein. Teddy is great outside of the arena too—he loves to leisurely stroll down the trails and is confident alone, will lead a group, or is happy to trail behind. Nothing bothers this little soldier—great with tarps, gunfire, traffic, machinery, dogs, wildlife, donkeys, pigs, buffalo, and even camels. Teddy is as honest as the day is long and aims to be a pleaser. A super fun boy to have around the barn and easy to own—catch him anywhere, jump on bareback, and go enjoy anything you want to do on horseback. Teddy would make a great kids' horse, first horse, or anyone that needs a confidence builder. He's consistent and gentle every ride, even with time off.
