Description

Beauregard is a 2014 chocolate tobiano Spotted Saddle Horse gelding standing at 15.2 hands. He is a very in-your-pocket horse, following you around like a dog. Easy to catch, handles beautifully, and loves to be petted. Beauregard is great for the farrier, easy to clip and bathe, and stands still for saddling, bridling, and mounting. He is a great horse for any level rider. He'll dog-walk all day if you let him, but will move out and gait or lope when asked. He is very good gaited and natural, with a great canter. He can lope circles and pick up his leads, neck reins beautifully, rides off your legs, has a great whoa, and a good reverse. Beauregard is virtually spook-free—point him and he'll go. Ride him down the busiest street in town or drop off over a rock bluff, and know you're in safe hands. He crosses all types of water, slippery rocks, and fallen trees. He is traffic safe, great around farm equipment, and has spent many days checking cows and other livestock—he's definitely livestock and wildlife safe.
