Winnie is a 2017 chocolate Rocky Mountain Horse mare standing at 15.1 hands—a super stout built Rocky Mountain mare, classic dark chocolate color with a platinum blonde mane and tail. Built like a tank, she can carry a heavy load but is gentle enough to carry precious cargo. She has miles and miles of experience, camping and trail riding at large campgrounds and on week-long camping trips. Easy to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle, she has a natural smooth 4-beat gait that covers ground with ease. No matter where she goes or what she does, Winnie is not spooky acting, and on the trails, she is always great. She rides anywhere asked, whether in the front or back of the group. Confident, she leaves the barn or other horses with no issues. Exposed to all kinds of wildlife, she goes anywhere asked. With many miles in the mountains, she has encountered every obstacle possible on the trail—going up or down steep slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all types of rough terrain while staying sure-footed. She has been ridden in traffic and is very traffic safe around cars, semis, log trucks, and dump trucks. She has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever she is asked to do.
