Banjo is a 2016 chocolate Rocky Mountain Horse gelding standing at 15.1 hands—the brokest, safest, and most unique Rocky Mountain we've had to offer. With his dark chocolate color and golden-streaked mane and tail, he is beautiful and conformationally correct. Banjo is truly special, with the kindest disposition that makes him a forever dream horse. He has spent numerous hours on trails, at field trials, and in fun shows. You can ride him with a bridle or bridle-less, loose rein or tight rein—it doesn't matter. Trained by professionals, he neck reins one-handed, canters on correct leads, backs on command, and responds to leg cues. He stands to be mounted and dismounted from the ground or a mounting block. Banjo does tricks—he counts, marches, and bows on command. With countless hours on the trails, he has seen it all: crossing logs, water, and ditches quietly and safely, traveling up and down hills at a safe pace, and he is traffic safe. He has been used to pony other horses around camps and give beginners lessons. Most importantly, he is SAFE. Banjo is an all-around family horse, from kids to any aged adult, taking care of his rider whether in a group or alone.
