Trooper is a 2017 palomino Quarter Horse gelding standing at 14.3 hands—cuteness overload. This chromed out, blonde-haired, blue-eyed little charmer is marvelous. Trooper's inquisitive personality and loving disposition will make you laugh and fall in love over and over. He likes to please his people and doesn't want to be wrong. Trooper has been trained in reining and can perform all maneuvers very stylishly—cruising around naturally low-headed with amazingly smooth gaits. Easy and comfortable to sit, he has a rocking-chair lope on a loose rein and guides easily. He has fancy spins, easy lead changes, a deep sliding stop, and is a gorgeous mover. He loves to rope the lead steer around the arena and has a lot of natural cow. Trooper is good in sorting pens and fun to gather and work cattle on. He has a responsive one-handed neck rein but will ride bridle-less just as well. Trooper stays very gentle and trained even with substantial time off without being ridden—we have grabbed him out of the pasture after months, and it's as if he never had a day off. Over the years, we have let friends, family, and business associates ride him around our ranch and on the trails. Trooper is always the same and trustworthy to take care of everyone. He lays down on command with trust and confidence around tarps, dogs, and gunfire. He will boldly cruise down busy highways with traffic and bicycles and is good around machinery, pigs, buffalo, and even a camel. Whether you want to trail ride, horse show, ride down the parade, or just to the mailbox, this fancy boy will be reliable, consistent, and turn everyone's head that crosses his path.
