Danny is a 2016 buckskin Quarter Horse gelding standing at 15 hands—as handy as a Leatherman tool, as versatile and well-rounded as any gelding around. Anything you want to do on horseback, this guy is game. He is such an incredibly special gelding to us and to everyone that has been part of his life. Danny's sweet and kind disposition will steal your heart every day. He is as honest as the day is long and such a willing, kind, and gentle individual. He has a proven record and will be the funnest partner to go enjoy in the show pen and bring home the money and prizes. Danny is very solid and easy in all his reining maneuvers with fancy spins, deep stops, and an automatic lead change. He is calm, cool, and collected—a pretty mover who will stand out in Ranch Riding classes. Danny is great to cut on in the arena or in sorting pens. He is a natural at reading cows and has the grit to hold a tough one from the herd. Point, drop your hand, and enjoy the ride—he's all business and knows his job. A deluxe ranch horse, Danny will be the gelding you want to saddle if you need to get a job done on the ranch. He has earned his keep and knows what long days are and all about a wet saddle pad. Used in big country to gather cattle and spent winters working wheat pasture cattle, doctoring, branding, and gathering. Back him in the box or go chase one down in the pasture—Danny is super to rope on. Leaves the box flat and smooth, perfect rate and timing, sweet move in the corner, and can face on the head side. He will suit any level of roper. You can practice on him all day long, and he gives you the same shot every time. You can rope and tie one down in the pasture, and he will hold strong from the horn. Danny has been ridden by the kiddos and is the type of horse you can walk off and trust. Always gentle and safe, if your safety is a priority, he will give you the confidence you need. He will ride for anyone that can climb up in his saddle. Danny is great on the trails and goes right where you point him, good with heavy traffic, dogs, tarps, gunfire, and wild animals. Very sure-footed and smooth to ride. This gorgeous buckskin gelding will be enjoyable to own every day. Extremely easy to handle on the ground, he'll meet you at the gate to catch, and saddles up gentle every time even without routine riding.
