Bear is a head-turning 2015 buckskin Quarter Horse gelding standing at 15.1 hands—America's favorite color and one of our personal all-time favorites. As pretty a buckskin as you'll find, he'll go do anything you want on horseback. Bear is solid and jackpot-ready on the head side. He stands like a wooden Indian in the box, has plenty of run, great rate, a fancy move on the corner, and faces easily. He'll make lots of runs and put you in the same spot each time—super easy to rope on for lower-numbered ropers. Originally trained in reining, Bear performs all maneuvers with pretty spins, easy lead changes, and rides around on a draped rein. He would make an exceptional all-around horse in Ranch Versatility, Ranch Riding, Roping, and Cowhorse events, with unlimited ability to catch the judge's eye. Ridden tons of outside miles, he goes right where you point him. A great ranch horse, he would make the Ranch Owner or Foreman a top mount—the fanciest you can find. He is very cowy, great in sorting pens, has been roped on in the pasture, and will work a rope. Bear is always gentle and super quiet even with time off, with a solid mind and sweet disposition. He is super smooth and comfortable to ride for any level rider, great with gunfire, and has been around mounted shooting patterns.
