Chlautile is a stunning 2015 palomino tobiano Paint Horse mare standing at 15.1 hands. With her golden palomino and white markings, she is not only pretty to look at but equally as pretty moving. She is versatile and handy, capable of English, Western, and trail riding. Chlautile stands tied, is easy to work on for the vet and farrier, sprays, bathes, clips, and is easy to groom and saddle up. She is great in turnout and comes running to the gate when she sees you. Under saddle, Chlautile is an uncomplicated and fun ride. Used extensively for lessons, she has navigated an equine obstacle park with ease, confidently handling tension bridges, moving platforms, teeter-totters, cowboy curtains, ponds, and more. She rides nicely one-handed in a finished bit, with lovely transitions: walk, jog, extended jog, lope, and extended lope. Downward transitions are effortless with just relaxing your seat. She has a nice back-up, takes both leads nicely, stays balanced, and has a nice simple lead change. She neck reins easily, and you can even ride her with just a string around her neck—she guides just as easy. Chlautile has a soft mouth, rides with beautiful collection in contact, stays soft over the back, and has natural impulsion from the hind. Under English tack, she has a lovely big step to her trot with nice flat knee and reach, and a naturally floaty canter with nice suspension. She trots ground poles and willingly jumps. Chlautile leg yields, softens her face, moves her hip and shoulders, and stays soft and relaxed through all maneuvers. A dream to load up and haul out, she requires no lunging or riding down in a new place and loves an adventure. This beautiful mare would make an awesome all-around horse for just about anyone—kid-approved for a lesson program or beginner adult. She is simple, fun, and ready to meet her new partner.
