April is a remarkable 2016 buckskin Gypsy Vanner gelding standing at 14.3 hands—a true heart horse that will steal your soul. Raised at our ranch since a yearling, he blossomed into an absolutely astonishing gelding with balanced, correct conformation and a classic babydoll head. His buckskin color is stunning, with four perfectly matched socks and a blazed face. He grows a luxurious mane and tail that stays tangle-free even living outdoors. April rides like a Quarter Horse—unbelievably good-legged and a gorgeous mover with a great jog, beautiful extended trot, and ground-covering walk. All his gaits are super smooth and comfortable. From his first ride, April has been a gentle soul—a people pleaser eager to do whatever you ask. His transitions are flawless, with perfect lead departures, a great stop, and a solid "whoa." He has cute spins, an amazing side pass, and lead changes. April tackles all trail obstacles without hesitation—bridges, log drags, poles, tarps, machinery, and gunfire. He rides Western, English, bareback, and bridle-less with equal ease. Fun in the arena but a true trail machine, he is sure-footed in boulders, rocks, thick brush, and tight places. He ground ties, leads by an ear, and is confident alone or in company. April drives as well—pulling a cart or wagon naturally, with a total off switch. Raised around a menagerie of camels, buffalo, pigs, kangaroos, longhorn cattle, and dogs, nothing phases him.
