Cruz is a 2014 bay Warmblood gelding standing at 16.2 hands—tall, dark, and handsome, an IMPORTED Warmblood gelding. With bloodlines including the famous Holsteiners Con Air by Contender and Henry Jotas lines, his impeccable conformation, perfect hunter canter, and flawless jumping form make him a 10+ mover destined to win big. Cruz has what it takes to be your next top SHOW HUNTER. He has had extensive flatwork training inside the arena and out, walking, trotting, and cantering on a loose rein for hunters or collecting into a frame for dressage. He rides nicely off the seat and leg, has a soft mouth, and is ready to show 2'3"-2'6", eligible for green hunter divisions. Cruz enjoys riding Western and going for trail rides, mastering all the Western basics—great stop, back up, lateral work, yielding forequarters/hindquarters. Good with traffic and riding out alone, he has been hauled all over for trail obstacle practice, riding lessons, and local horse shows. While Cruz has clear hunter potential, he could easily shine in dressage, equitation, jumping, or eventing. He is VERSATILE and could excel in any discipline. A barn favorite with excellent manners and a sweet, willing temperament, he could easily be brought along by an adult amateur or junior rider.
