Tequila is a 2016 red dun Quarter Horse gelding standing at 15 hands—this is one cool gelding. Conformationally very correct and balanced with that attractive red dun color, dorsal stripe, and tiger-striped legs. He can do all the maneuvers easily and correctly—pretty spins, smooth stops, easy lead change, and lopes on a draped rein. Tequila has very comfortable gaits and transitions with a nice slow jog and good extended trot. He neck reins nicely and guides easily. Very smart, he learns new things eagerly and easily—adaptive and quiet-minded in new surroundings. Gentle and easy-going, Tequila enjoys a relaxing trail ride and is excellent in all types of terrain. Confident to ride alone, but good in a group as well. He's not in a rush to do anything—he would just assume go slow, but has plenty of go if needed. Not spooky, good with wildlife, dogs, cattle, gunfire, traffic, tarps, and machinery. Tequila is very fond of any attention you give him and is a very loving soul. He has a lot of personality and is entertaining around the barn—running to the gate when he sees you and following you around like a puppy dog. A big-boned gelding with great structure, he's built to last a lifetime. Very versatile and a willing partner that can go any direction. This classy gelding is always gentle and aims to please.
