Snickers is a 2017 palomino Quarter Horse gelding standing at 15 hands—golden and gorgeous. Snickers makes a statement everywhere he goes. Not only is he stunning, but he checks all the other boxes too—safe, safe, safe every time you catch him. Snickers is super easy going and wants to always be a good boy, gentle and easy to handle in the saddle and on the ground. Fully trained in reining with stylish spins, easy lead changes, and long sliding stops. His speed control is amazing—more of a push-to-go type of horse, but so trained he easily takes his correct leads with just a smooch and neck reins with the lightest touch. When you say "whoa," all four feet are like a statue. Snickers is great on the ranch—naturally cowy and good in sorting pens and gathering cattle out of big pastures. He ground ties where you drop a rein, side passes to all gates, and can pull a semi truck if you roped it. A trooper on the trails, he is confident alone, will lead a group, or happily trail behind. He goes where you point him and doesn't say no. Accustomed to lots of wildlife, dogs, pigs, camels, buffalo, and cattle, tarps, gunfire, traffic, and machinery do not phase him either. Snickers has a big personality and is a fun horse to have around the barn—the kind that anyone will be proud to own.
