Jimmy is a 2017 palomino Quarter Horse gelding standing at 15 hands—exceptionally special in so many ways, the total package. Above all, his attitude and demeanor are an A+ every day, 100% safe and gentle in every aspect. His beautiful golden color and long snow-white mane and tail are just a bonus. He would excel in Ranch Versatility, Stock Horse, Cowhorse, and Ranch Riding classes, perfect for a youth or beginner competitor. Jimmy has pretty spins, easy deep stops, great transitions, and guides easily with a neck rein. He has a super comfy jog and lopes on a draped rein, with a good extended trot and spot-on speed control. He's more of a push-style ride and would assume go slow. Jimmy would be a great family horse, giving confidence to a beginner or nervous rider. He is patient and tolerant of mistakes—nothing bothers this sweetheart gelding. He is calm, steady, and quiet. Jimmy is fun to work cows on and a great partner gathering pastures and in sorting pens. He has a ton of natural sense on cattle and is good at boxing one on the short wall. We have roped the dummy and live cattle on him too. Jimmy is a steady eddy on the trails—perfect alone or will follow or lead a group.
