Willy is a 2016 sorrel pony gelding standing at 12.1 hands—100% gentle, sane, and absolutely kid friendly. This is definitely one of my best ponies being offered to the public to date. Willy is perfectly marked and full of chrome—a great size and made right. Willy is one-hand broke, moves off leg pressure, and is very light in the mouth. He can give an English lesson and have another kid hop on and gather cattle on him in the next. If you can sit in the saddle, you can ride him. Willy has a very nice lope with easy smooth transitions. His pleasing and kind attitude makes him the first choice for every kid. Children, teens, and small adults have been on top of Willy. He lives up to his name, taking care of every one of his passengers. He rides safely through busy towns and excels inside and outside of the arena. He does not spook at new objects, has been hauled to playdays and little shows all over. He stays levelheaded and has no fear around dogs, ropes, goats, roping sleds, vehicles, pigs, and more. Willy truly has been used in all aspects of Western and English riding. The kids absolutely adore being around this saint of a pony. They can easily catch him in any size pen, throw a halter on, swing up, and ride him bareback. He stands quiet and still for brushing, baths, and clipping. A gentleman to load, tie, and haul, Willy is not spooky nor does he have any bad habits. He walks, trots, and lopes on a loose rein and will NOT take advantage of the tiny learning kids. He picks up both leads and backs up with ease. SOUND and clean, with no visible bumps or blemishes. Willy sells with a current negative Coggins test and health certificate.
